Muziekpublique’s Nomadic Season

Muziekpublique steps beyond its familiar walls

After 18 wonderful years at the Molière Theater, Muziekpublique is stepping beyond its familiar walls to share its magic throughout Brussels. For one season, we will bring our activities to new, exciting locations across the city.

Over the past 20 years, we have built a close-knit, passionate community with you, our loyal audience. Music lovers, volunteers, musicians, artists, bookers, and organizers—you have all made Muziekpublique a vital hub in Brussels’ music scene. Your engagement and enthusiasm are at the heart of our mission.

Due to the extensive renovations at the Molière Theater, our cherished home base, we are temporarily relocating our concert activities. However, our academy, label, and festivals will continue as usual. This change in the organization of our concerts presents a unique opportunity to deepen our connection with the community and expand our musical horizons. Our previous collaborations with various organizations and venues during the Hide & Seek and Living Room Music festivals, as well as the Queimada and Bal & Basta! folk balls, have shown us the enriching nature of these partnerships. For this project, we are also partnering with organizations that share many of our core values.

This ‘nomadic’ period is also a perfect time to bring our activities closer to you, offering new ways to experience Muziekpublique while staying true to our core values of musical and cultural diversity. Expect concerts in a variety of atmospheric locations, from concert halls like Marni, atelier.210, and Mercelis to the extensive Living Room Music Winter Sessions, spread over several weeks in february & march.

We’re thrilled to start this Muziekpublique’s Nomadic Season! Together, we will transform each location into a vibrant hub of passion for traditional music and community. Join us on this adventure and experience beautiful acoustic music in new, inspiring settings!
