Daughter of the Bullerengue singer and composer Eloisa Garcés, Darlina Sáenz embodies the continuity of an ancestral musical tradition. Trained in Necoclí, Colombia, by the elders of her community, she now carries on this heritage alongside her sister in the group Cantares de Eloa.
Bullerengue
Recognized as one of the contemporary voices of Bullerengue, she is actively involved in transmitting this tradition through cultural and community projects.
A rare and precious opportunity: for the first time in Belgium, a cantadora (female singer) carrying this living tradition shares her art in a direct and authentic way.
Her workshop offers a vibrant immersion in Bullerengue, based on oral tradition: learning through listening, repetition, and collective participation, exploring song, rhythm, and dance.
