Entre Deux

Entre Deux is the meeting point between accordionist Guus Herremans and bassist Jelle Van Cleemputte, two musicians with broad musical backgrounds and an insatiable curiosity. The duo explores the space between tradition and innovation, blending the warm groove of the bass with the expressive timbre of the accordion into a sound that is both familiar and surprising.

Inspired by the culture and stunning nature of La Réunion, Entre Deux creates its own universe of pulsating grooves, lyrical melodies, and captivating improvisations. Their music transcends genres, ranging from sultry, tropical atmospheres to exhilarating dance rhythms that pull you straight out of your seat. On stage, they forge a direct connection with listeners: each concert is a dialogue, filled with spontaneity, energy, and subtle interaction between the two musicians. Entre Deux takes audiences on a musical journey where boundaries dissolve and every piece tells a story – sometimes intimate and still, sometimes exuberant and festive, but always with infectious energy and genuine musicianship.

Hartwin Trio

For the first Bal & Basta! of 2026, we welcome Hartwin Trio, the group that’s been getting Europe dancing for years with their diatonic accordion, violin and cello. They say it’s impossible to resist the cinematic folk of this extraordinary band who turn music into an incredible playground.

Hartwin crafts melodies that linger long after the last dance, deceptively simple, yet brimming with emotion. True gateways to the imagination. With him, Pavel Souvandjiev (Aerokorda’s violinist), known for his energetic instrumental music blending Celtic and Balkan influences. They’re joined by Flavia Escartin on cello. With her classical and jazz background, she transforms the group’s compositions into something truly unique. The arrangements are surprising and creative, with genres joyfully colliding. A high-wire act between classical, folk and world music, orchestrated by three distinctive personalities who constantly challenge and complement each other musically. An unconventional, virtuosic trio that will give you an unforgettable first ball of the year.
