Diatonic accordion
the course
Welcome to the diatonic accordion class! Lessons are structured for individuals or, if preferred, in pairs to facilitate learning through collaboration, mutual listening, and the ability to accompany one another right from the beginning. The repertoire will primarily feature traditional French and Western European themes, along with compositions inspired by these traditions. The goal is to equip you to independently learn new pieces within a few years, play melodies proficiently, grasp fundamental accompaniment techniques, and derive joy from playing both solo and with fellow musicians!
Music theory is not necessary, we work mainly by ear. Children are also welcome!
Born into a family of musicians, Lolita Pariaud began classical piano studies at various music schools in France. She performed regularly as a choral accompanist before turning to the diatonic accordion. It wasn’t long before, after several courses with various accordionists (Didier Laloy, Bruno Le Tron, Anne Niepold, Norbert Pignol, among others), she set up her first project and never let go of this fascinating instrument. To this day, she continues to participate in training courses to perfect her skills and expand her knowledge. Currently she mainly plays in folk dance groups: Duo Anthracite, Les Kickeuses, La Miglouille (new project) and she plays with the singer HK in the project “HK à la sauce belge”.
