A weekend filled with concerts concerts, workshops & jam sessions dedicated to “old-time” music from the US.
Before country and bluegrass conquered the world, the music of communities of farmers and miners in the eastern United States made people dance and dream. This country music hit the airwaves in the early 1900s under the name Hillbilly Music and later “old-time.” Its origins can be traced to European and African folk traditions.
