Program of the day
9:30 AM – Welcome & Registration
Kick off the day with a coffee/tea and register to join the network.
10:00 AM – Plenary Session – Welcome and Introduction
Overview of the day’s agenda, followed by the Annual General Meeting of the Belgian Worldwide Music Network, open to all current and future members. Agenda: 2024 Annual Report, 2025 Budget, nominations, and amendments to the bylaws. The plenary session will be held in both French and Dutch.

Explore career sustainability in the music industry: testimonials and discussions based on Vi.be’s study on age-related discrimination in the sector, followed by a conversation on alternatives to constant emergence. How to keep the spark alive, leverage your experience, and overcome setbacks when success seems elusive? (in French and Dutch). -
Strategies for International Promotion
Discover effective strategies for promoting your music projects internationally with Duncan Ballantyne, music communication expert. (in English)
1:30 PM – Conference: Inspiring the Worldwide Music Sector
Each participant will get the chance to introduce themselves in one minute, share their voice and shine a light on their project. The afternoon will continue with Lundis d’Hortense and Jazzlab, who will share their work methods and strategies. The conference will be moderated by Herbert Cells.
3:10 PM – Speed-Meetings (by reservation)
Quick and targeted meetings with agents, labels, media, management associations and other key players who can help move your project forward.
4:30 PM – Closing & Pitches
End the day with quick pitches to summarise key ideas, followed by a casual closing moment.
5:30 PM – Networking Drink
A relaxed opportunity to continue exchanging ideas and strengthen your new connections.
