The aim of this class is to get to grips with the workings of the keyboard, instrumental techniques, musical theory and scales whilst reserving time for listening, arrangements and improvisation. The repertory is very free (folk, musette etc.) according to the musical aspirations of the class. Students are invited to work in groups in order to develop listening and playing skills.
Required solfège? No
Instrument provided? No
The courses take place in two groups A and B, with two different thematic modules. Thematic modules will be proposed at the beginning of the cycle, and students will choose according to interest for one or the other subject. In the proposed modules, there will always be two speeds, so everyone can learn at his level.
Classes will alternate every other week on Tuesdays between 18:30 and 20:00. The week ‘without course’ there will be the opportunity to meet at the usual time for work in autonomy.
Be careful, classes are NOT accessible to complete beginners.
The orchestra takes place one week out of three, between 20h and 22h.
It is accessible to anyone with a diatonic accordion (no matter the tone) and open to beginners as well. This is a group project where people meet for the pleasure of sharing music together. The distributed songs will be adapted to everyone’s level, from beginner to advanced. What matters is the collective result.
The proposed repertoire will be without boundaries: world music, pop, jazzy, … and why not classical music?
This orchestra will allow you to address the issues of arrangement, form, improvisation, sound, … .- in a good mood.
Attention, this orchestra is NOT a course of repertory or technique!
