Concert at 8:30 pm
The Royal Library is well known to Brussels folk, but few are aware of its gigantic terrace and the splendid view it offers of the Mont des Arts! Specially for this occasion you enter by the very private “Palace of Charles of Lorraine”. Don’t forget to admire the sumptuous staircase and the rotunda before setting foot on the terrace, which will plunge you into both an urban and an historical atmosphere !
For this occasion, we are delighted to welcome the singer Laïla Amezian and the Sheikhs Shikhats. Reinterpreting music from the popular repertoire of northern Morocco, Laïla Amezian has surrounded herself with vocalists and musicians from the jazz and world scene to offer us an adaptation for multiple voices of audacious jazz arrangements and an explosive chaabi groove! Laïla Amezian and the Sheikhs Shikhats, it’s all the strength and beauty of traditional music coupled with jazz!
