1. MUZIEKPUBLIQUE RESIDENCE-PROGRAM  (New!)

Muziekpublique has always supported young and upcoming artists and musicians in traditional music. That’s why we’re launching the new Residence-Program in collaboration with VI.BE! From 2023 on, Muziekpublique will select each year two upcoming, traditional music projects to become residence artists during one year at Muziekpublique.

During this residence, Muziekpublique en VI.BE will use its network, skills and professional surrounding to help grow your music project developing your:

  • artistic identity (with photo and video shoot offered by Muziekpublique)
  • a live set
  • career planning,
  • promotion
  • at least one concert.

It’s an amazing opportunity to put your project on the map and to work with a professional team during a year!

2. GENERAL CAll FOR MUSICIANS/ARTISTS FOR CONCERTS (such as Living Room Festival)

Can you play a live acoustic traditional music set? Are you an experienced live artist/musician?
Then maybe you are the next artist to play on one of Muziekpublique’s events!

There’s, for example, the very unique ‘Living Room Festival’ during which people open their living rooms for an acoustic live set of traditional music.

Don’t hesitate to present us your profile/project!

3. COMMON ROUTES (A European project)

This European project is a collaboration between six countries for which we are looking for local artists/musicians who already have some recording and live concert experience. The selected artist will work together with the french ‘Common Routes’ trio recording songs and building a repertoire together!

The starting point of this project is to break cultural barriers and provide artists with new skills.
