Do you live in France, Germany, Holland or another European country? Are you under thirty, and would you like to join our team for a period of between 6 months to a year? If so, our European Voluntary Service project may have been made for you.
The best way to bridge the gap between your studies and a job is to build up some relevant work experience through a meaningful voluntary project. Muziekpublique offers you the opportunity to get some practical experience so as to be better prepared for your future career.
We are currently looking for a non-Belgian volunteer who would like to spend between 6 months and (preferably) one year with Muziekpublique.
You will be a member of a small and dynamic team and will be totally immersed in the world of world music. You will learn how to work with people of very different origins and cultures. You will be involved in various aspects of the organisation such as producing concerts, coordinating volunteers, and public relations and communication. The costs of board and lodging, travel and insurance will be reimbursed by the EVS-programm of Erasmus+: Youth in Action.
Profile
Muziekpublique is looking for a young person, between 20 and 30 years old, who has a background in the sociocultural sector, in interpersonal cultural mediation, cultural management or communications management, and who is interested in world music. You are motivated and you would like to make a contribution to our organisation over a longer period of between 6 months and (preferably) a year. We need someone who is proactive, sociable and motivated and who has the necessary flexibility. Oral and written comprehension of French or Dutch, and English would be an advantage.
