What returns every two months and easily hardens the stiffest legs? It’s Queimada! A folk dance around two live concerts, in the splendid setting of the people’s house, with a druid who set fire to the Queimada, a Galician drink, accompanied by the ensemble A Contrabanda. An introduction to dance is given by Frissefolk to warm you up!
The duo Rémi Decker and Hans Jochems will begin the evening with their spontaneous polyphonic songs full of warmth. They have found small pearls of bilingual pieces, full of surprises, brought from very close or very far from home. The 10 cords of the Cistre blend perfectly with the flute and the bagpipe, and all makes you laugh and dance intensely.
The Moussaka Trio comes from the Vosges, and brings a fresh wind into the world of the ball. Their duet formula has brought dance to more than 100 balls, with always an importance given to the Breton dances. But Vincent Frisson (guitar) and Flavien Di-Cintio (diatonic accordion) are here joined by Nicolas Côme’s saxophone which opens the game to other universes: a new trio is born, where the dance rhymes with trance and splashes of pleasure .
- Hans Jochems: vocals, cistre, guitar
- Rémi Decker: vocals, guitar, flute, bagpipes
- Flavien Di-Cintio : diatonic accordion
- Vincent Fisson : acoustic guitar
- Nicolas Côme : clarinet, saxophone
