Come to the Worldwide Music Night at the Club of the Ancienne Belgique on 2 February to celebrate homegrown talent. An evening full of showcases as part of the Belgian Week, culminating in the presentation of the Belgian Worldwide Music Awards. An unmissable event for fans of traditional music and lovers of folk.

The duo Hermia/Leleux brings rhythm and colour and has incredible energy. Their music is contemporary, tinged with worldly sounds that transcend time. Imane Guemssy is the first woman of her generation to break taboos by practising Gnawa music. A true pioneer and ambassador, she cheerfully explores new styles and contributes to the popularity and evolution of this centuries-old musical tradition. Sonetos del Amor Oscuro brings chamber music from the South reminiscent of a fairy tale, inspired by the poetry of Federico García Lorca. And finally, Nana Osei Twum Barima, an outstanding musician, singer, percussionist and dancer who brings the spirit of Ghanaian musical traditions to the heart of the Ancienne Belgique.

And to end the evening on a high note, don’t miss the afterparty at KFK Hope with DJ showcases led by DJ Wait&See.

In partnership with Belgium Booms, VI.BE, WBM,Conseil de la Musique, Sabam, Playright+, Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, Kiosk Radio and AB.
