Peixe e Limão presents its debut album “SALTA!”
Two Italians and a Belgian cross paths in Brussels, a city that embraces their sensitivities and questions. With courage, they let their instruments and personal experiences intertwine, and friendship sparks into life. Together, they dive hand in hand into the waves of their inner oceans, now less turbulent. The fear of breaking the silence fades away. Their voices and hands are steady, and words and notes flow effortlessly. From this, their debut album, SALTA!, is born.
The music is powerful and profound, at times lyrical. It explores worldly themes, deeply human stories, anything but epic. Non-romantic love, anti-heroic migration. Boredom, obsessive loneliness, exhaustion. A deep fear of diving in, but an even stronger desire to dream against the current. With this album, blending languages and styles, Peixe e Limão touches the essence of the human experience, engaging with our vulnerability. This resonance becomes the key to forging deep connections, reflecting what unites us all. The trio whispers aquatic incantations, soothing both our hearts and souls.
