MOVY CLUB CINEMA
The Movy Club is a neighborhood cinema located in Forest that has managed to keep its intimate charm and human touch. Built in the 1930s in a style that blends Art Deco and modernism, it was updated in the 1950s and then again in the 1970s. Several elements of the building have been preserved and are listed as heritage sites, including the entrance hall, the lobby, the main theater, and the projection booth. Good news for film lovers and local residents: the Movy Club has been purchased by the Brussels-Capital Region, which aims to revive this iconic venue and restore the cinema.
