The American Roots Sessions, a jam session that eagerly snaps in the folk music of the United States and Canada, is taking place at Muziekpublique. On the repertoire: bluegrass, old time, Irish music from across the Atlantic, cool folk from Quebec and fiddle tunes with roaring names like “Chiquapin Hunting” or “Sal’s Got Mud between her Toes”.
