Renaud Dardenne is a key figure on the Belgian gypsy jazz scene. With his trio, he reveals a universe all his own. The repertoire varies from original compositions to arrangements, with a strong emphasis on improvisation.
Together with guitarist Benjamin Clement, a true musical chameleon and a reference in traditional music, and Boris Schmidt on double bass, the trio invites Tcha Limberger for this special occasion. Composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Tcha Limberger is a world-class musician who navigates effortlessly between different styles, from Transylvanian Roma music to Latin American songs. With the Renaud Dardenne Trio, he returns to his roots. Born into a renowned Belgian family of gypsy musicians, he grew up with the style of Django Reinhardt. Over the years, he has worked with many important artists, including Fapy Lafertin, Aka Moon and Jordi Savall.
