Miguel Sanchez presents De Buena Rama, an intimate and innovatory spectacle that exudes the atmosphère of pure flamenco as performed in the tablaos of Andalucia, where elegance and strength are the keywords. We know this artiste from the Brussels flamenco scene, Miguel Sanchez, through his twenty-year collaboration with his friend the jazz guitarist Louis Winsberg and their flamenco fusion project, Thalisma. The initiated already know too that Sanchez just as much at home surrounded by the famous Familia Fernandez from Seville, of which Esperanza Fernandez is perhaps the best known member. With De Buena Rama! (literally “from the good branch”), Sanchez revisits the roots of flamenco with song, guitar, dance and percussion, and it’s not surprising that Joselito Fernandez (Tomatito, “LaFamilia Fernandez”) and Soraya Clavijo, excellent dancer from Jerez, will join him, accompanied by the talented singer Maria Marin, the singer Antonio Paz and the guitarist Mathias ‘El Mati’ Berchasky.
