With the mandolin, the accordion and the trumpet, Ekko Trio brings a mix of novelty to folk music. The group is inspired by Belgian surrealism, which is reflected in its music : jazz here, Irish folk there. The energy of a folk group is mixed with the improvisational talents of the best jazz musicians. With its second album EKKO.trio², the group presents nine new pieces with specific characteristics; nine portraits that reflect the soul of a serene, determined and balanced folk trio. With this new opus, Ekko Trio takes us into its own musical and poetic universe.
