Didier Laloy is back with his newest creation and a new album: Belem & The MeKanics. He reinvents the world of Belem (his famed duo with cellist Kathy Adam) in collaboration with the creative madness of contemporary composer Walter Hus and his “Decap” mechanical instruments. This eclectic project from Walter Hus is an orchestral ensemble of 15 instruments, including autonomous acoustic organs, accordions and percussion instruments, set in motion, like an orchestrion, according to a specific arrangement. Let yourself be swept away by its unique melodies, a blend of popular, contemporary and cinematic music, with a nod to Fellini. With its sound, which varies from smooth and rich to a philharmonic wave stirring one’s imagination, Belem & The MeKanics is an extraordinary experience that plunges the audience into the centre of a majestic whirlwind of sound!
