For some years now, we have been dreaming of taking you into the forest at dusk to observe fireflies in a musical setting that respects nature and its inhabitants.
Watching fireflies is an enchanting spectacle. It is only possible about two weeks a year, around midsummer night, in the evening sky. Their special dance of light can be observed in some dark and wooded places around the capital Brussels. Together with musician and biologist Raphaël De Cock, a glowworm and firefly researcher, we will go into the forêt de Soignes for an intimate concert with a different guest musician each time. The walk ends with the observation of fireflies, which can only be seen at sunset. When they are flying around in large numbers, they provide a fairy-like spectacle!
