Shahab Azinmehr & Milad Mohammadi

Milad Mohammadi and Shahab Azinmehr bring their unique talents and passion for Persian music to the project “Tar.” Their aim is to blend traditional melodies with contemporary arrangements, creating a fusion of tradition and innovation. Through their music, they celebrate cultural diversity and invite listeners on a journey of musical exploration.

Milad Mohammadi is an accomplished tar player and multi-instrumentalist. He started his music education at a young age and has since graduated from the renowned Tehran School of Music and Tehran University of Music. Milad has recorded several albums, including “Shadow” and “The Metamorphosed,” showcasing his skills and collaborations with renowned Iranian musicians. He is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional Persian music and incorporating influences from other cultures.

Shahab Azinmehr, on the other hand, has a background in restoration of historical monuments. He entered the world of music through singing and later learned to play the tar and setar. He has studied under various masters and has performed in festivals, concerts, and albums as both an instrumentalist and singer. Shahab is also a member of the Orpheus Xxi ensemble led by Maestro Jordi Savall. Additionally, Shahab has released his own individual album called “Showq-e Mastur,” which is a setar solo performance.

tHE Autrique HOUSE

One of the first residences conceived by architect Victor Horta, the Autrique House was commissioned by his friend, and Free Mason brother, Eugène Autrique. Thanks to the insistence of comic book artist François Schuiten, this small pearl, which had been on the market for many years, was bought and renovated by the Municipality of Schaerbeek. In it, you can find some of the characteristics typical of Victor Horta, such as its integration with the street, the mixture of symmetrical and asymmetrical forms, the pioneer usage of metal, etc. With the decoration François Schuiten and Benoît Peeters added to it, you obtain a beautiful homage to Brussels private architecture.
