Back in the 90’s the Tesi/Vaillant duo surprised international audiences with their bold and original music. Then, while continuing to play together, accordion hero Riccardo Tesi (IT) and mandolin master Patrick Vaillant (FR) turned their sights to other projects, respectively Banditaliana and Melonious Quartet. When their musical path crossed that of percussion virtuoso Andrea Piccioni, the member of the fabulous ‘Master of Frame Drums’ group, a new group was born.
Their formula is simple and effective. Three traditional instruments, the mandolin, the diatonic accordion and the tambourine, in the hands of three authentic virtuosos with the same motivation: music without borders, innovative and open-minded, and with solid roots! The group offers a fascinating musical universe that is both familiar and surprising, sprinkled with a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. You can’t get much better than that!
