An intoxicating cocktail of blues and alcohol at the Fovel Distillery, one of the last remaining genuine family businesses in Brussels, producing various kinds of jenever (Hollands gin) and other spirits. In this astonishingly bucolic setting in Schaerbeek, Tiny Legs Tim and his guitar conjure up a long-vanished America through a music that hasn’t! This  virtuoso guitarist, a finger-picking specialist, has an immediately recognizable voice, one in a thousand. While staying faithful to his blues roots and to the acoustic masters who nourished his passion for this nostalgic music, Tiny Legs Tim doesn’t shy away from creation, for he is also a fine composer of words and music. Tim possesses a great sensitivity for tunes that seem to flow limpidly through him, and the strength of his interpretation has won him growing recognition in Belgium and more widely in Europe.

In addition to the concert, the not-for-profit association Brukselbinnenstebuiten will lead you on a one-hour visit through the Josaphat quarter: from the village of yesteryear to the densely populated district of today around the sinuous rue Josaphat, where the numerous shops and groceries nowadays replace donkeys carrying fruit.
