Under the leadership of the famous choir “The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices”, Bulgarian polyphony has conquered the world for decades. Four of the best singers from this choir came together to form the Eva Female Vocal Quartet, a group characterized by a very virtuous singing style, based on excellent vocal technique. This singing technique, partly innate, was preserved while “bel canto” developed everywhere else in Europe. The Quartet approaches the Bulgarian musical tradition in a modern way, while maintaining authenticity. Their interpretations evoke the daily life in times past and explore its joys and sorrows.
