Ernesto Hermoza is a major name in Afro-Peruvian guitar. The workshop will be accompanied by the singer Luz Mara Carriquiry.

A self-taught musician and composer, Ernesto Hermoza develops a unique mixing between the Creole, flamenco and jazz genres since 1991. He has represented Peru in numerous guitar festivals around the world, sharing the stage with world class musicians such as Quincy Jones, Ralph Towner, Frank Bungarten, Marco Pereira, El Cigala, etc.

He accompanies the singer Susana Baca on the guitar, and has also recorded, , among others, with Joaquín Sabina, Susana Baca, Jorge Drexler, Eva Ayllon, Pedro Suarez Vertiz, Micky Gonzales, Jean Pierre Magnet, Lucho Quequezana, obtaining 4 Latin Grammy nominations and 1 gold record.
