One year ago, on Friday 13 March 2020, cultural centres, cafés and restaurants were closed down completely for the first time. This was the beginning of a long series of corona restrictions, mostly targeting certain sectors. One year later, the Belgian government boasts of its “model” that combines work, school, shops and curfew. A “model” that has put a lot of social binding activities and places for meeting, exchange, dialogue and debate under a bell jar. With the well-known effects on our mental health.
On Saturday 13 March 2021 we invite you, each with his/her skills and talents, to join the Still Standing action to make clear once more that this “model” is only a choice, it can also be done differently.
Join the queue from the closed Molière theatre (in the Gallery of the Porte de Namur) to the Vendôme cinema on Saturday at 3 p.m. sharp. Bring something to make some noise! Colour the queue with words, sounds, images…
