Course for Beginners
The main goal of the individual classes of diatonic accordion is to make the student familiar with the instrument and its basic techniques. Simon Gielen will be applying Yann Dour’s techniques, which also involves the teaching of a varied repertoire. Everything will be taught through listening to music instead of reading. (so there are no musical prerequisites)
The objective of the collective course is to introduce participants to playing togheter. This collective workshop will be dedicated to medium and advanced players who want to work more specifically on the repertoire of traditional European music. This workshop is dedicated to accordionists who have mastered their instrument and who have the desire and ability to learn melodies without a score. For a good functioning of this workshop, the registration of at least three participants is necessary. The maximum number will not exceed five.
> The teacher also gives online lessons. If you are interested in attending the lessons online, please contact muziekpublique.
Each student should have his or her own instrument. For more information on buying or renting a diatonic accordion, don’t hesitate to contact the teacher.
Solfège is not necessary
